New HITS Ingredients

WILD Flavors, Inc. has expanded its HITS (Health Ingredient Technology & Solutions) line. The HITS line of ingredients and solutions allows food and beverage manufacturers to utilize functional ingredients while creating great tasting products. The original line of ingredients included lutein, lycopene, grape seed extract, green tea polyphenols and CoQ10. The line has been expanded to include CoQ10 in a water-soluble emulsion that comes in a dry, water dispersible form that can be used in dry applications. Chlorogenic acid has also been added to the line as a polyphenol compound known for its antioxidant properties. WILD also developed phytosterol emulsions with cholesterol-lowering properties for easier handling and usage within beverage applications.
